Ecommerce API tokens can be used to integrate online payments with your ecommerce website. Only one e-commerce token can be created per account, but you can use the same token for multiple solutions.
There are multiple types of ecommerce API tokens:
- Hosted checkout: The checkout experience is fully hosted by Clover. You can customize some settings to make checkout look and feel like your website. Find out how to configure your hosted checkout page.
- Hosted iFrame + API/SDK: A closer integration with your website that allows for more customization. You can define the checkout fields you want to use and stylize it via CSS. Your developer can create the experience by following the instructions in the Clover Developer Docs.
- API: For merchants who want to use an ecommerce API token without Hosted Checkout or Hosted iFrame.
